Mike Kaplan, Associate Research Professor at Columbia University’s Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (He has been carrying out research in Chile and Argentina for over 15 years on how glaciers, climate, and landscapes have changed in the past;  he is currently a Fulbright Scholar spending time at Universidad de Magallanes and Universidad Católica.)

Francisco Meza, Professor at Universidad Católica’s School of Agronomy and Forestry (His areas of research focus on understanding the impacts of Global Change on Agriculture, Forest and Water Resources and the development of adaptation strategies for these sectors.)
Park Williams, Assistant Research Professor at Columbia University’s Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (Bio-climatologist whose work focuses on the climatological causes and the ecological consequences of drought; his research aims at understanding drought and its effects on terrestrial systems, including forests, the carbon cycle, agriculture, and humanity.)
